Dr. Ken Chisholm has a passion for helping people feel better and look their best. In his anesthesia practice at Capital Health, Nova Scotia, he helps people dealing with acute and chronic pain, and is also a trauma team leader. For the past ten years, he has been providing medical cosmetic services, such as Botox®, filler, and injectables at many spas all over Nova Scotia. Dr. Chisholm opened Spring Garden Cosmetic in 2009 to provide clients with a private, safe, professional environment delivering only the highest calibre of services and products.
Bailey Matheson
Bailey Matheson’s interest in skin has taken her across Canada and beyond. After graduating from Complections International Academy of Make-Up Artistry in Toronto, Ontario, she spent two years working for the prestigious La Praire Cosmetics line in London, England, at Harrods. Returning to Canada, she furthered her studies at the Dominelli International College of Esthetics in Vancouver, and then moved to Calgary where she obtained training in the most up-to-date medical esthetics and laser treatments at the Cosmetic Laser & Vein Centre. Now back in her home province, Bailey provides clinical esthetician and laser technician services under the direction of Dr. Ken Chisholm. She prides herself on having an in-depth understanding of how different skin types react to lasers – ensuring her clients get the best possible results.
Karen Matthews
Karen Matthews’ extensive training and affable personality give her unsurpassed confidence in providing clients with the latest innovations in skin care and advice. Her educational background includes studying the physiology and histology of the skin, as well as advanced clinical esthetics focusing on the chemistry and science of skin care. She also achieved her Master Cosmetology in esthetics from the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia, and her Clinical Esthetics Certification in Halifax. She is a certified Laser Technician.

Kimberly Scott
Kimberly has been a registered massage therapist for 17 years. She started her career in Los Angeles, California where she worked alongside many chiropractors, physical therapists, personal trainers, health and wellness professionals and athletes. During her years in California Kimberly was fortunate to have mentors that were massage therapists for various professional musicians and movie stars! Not only does Kimberly’s years of experience show in her massage but her friendly and professional demeanour make you feel truly welcome and relaxed. Direct billing is available.
Tristaca Caldwell
Tristaca Caldwell is a registered dietitian and professor in the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She teaches a variety of courses including Human Nutrition, Nutrition Education, Nutrition through the Lifespan, Sports Nutrition, and Contemporary Issues. Tristaca recently founded the first ever university chapter of Slow Food at Acadia, aimed at helping dietetics students foster an appreciation for high quality, socially responsible food. She is also a sports nutritionist for Dalhousie University. She has devoted much of her research and clinical efforts to athletes and those with disordered eating.
